Julie’s roots in Pinellas County run deep. She has worked diligently for 5 decades in service to the community through her involvement in public education, philanthropy, and the arts. She was worked extensively throughout Pinellas County over the years, from Palm Harbor to the Skyway Bridge and everywhere in between.
As an educator, she served as a teacher / Assistant Principal at Lakewood High School, and Principal at St. Petersburg and Countryside High Schools. Julie ultimately went on to become the first female superintendent in Pinellas County. While at the helm of the 27th largest school district in the country, she was accountable to a combined student body and workforce of nearly 150,000 individuals. Among her responsibilities as superintendent, Julie managed the district’s extensive real estate holdings and transactions.
Julie has served on numerous boards over the years including St. Anthony’s Hospital, Chi Chi Rodrigues Academy, Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, JWB, R-Club, and The Celma Mastry Ovarian Cancer Foundation.
Her long-standing connections to the community, neighborhoods, and families of St. Petersburg have provided her with a unique blend of local expertise, compassionate service, and an unwavering commitment to helping others.
Julie’s real estate endeavors are in partnership with her son-in-law Jason Teabout, a lifelong St.Pete resident, decorated veteran, and entrepreneur. Together, the Mastry/Teabout Group is ready to put their years of experience in the community to work for you.
